Each year WordCamp Montreal strives to offer a wide variety of talks and discussions about and around WordPress. Our speakers are passionate, expert volunteers who want to teach you about WordPress and publishing on the web. View list of confirmed presentations »
Please note that the schedule is subject to change. Please re-check the schedule the day of the event if timing is important for you.
The canonical location of the schedule is our Google Calendar where all talks exist as individual events. You can subscribe to our calendar with your Google account or using the iCal feed (Mac, iPhone, Thunderbird etc.) so that you can access it from within your preferred personal calendar and the info will be updated automatically if we change something.
You can also download the PDF or PNG files (pictured below) to save to your phone/tablet/laptop for easy access. Again, remember that the schedule is subject to change, so please re-check here for changes to the static files if timing is important.
About the presentations
The event is organized into two different rooms (“streams”, “tracks”) that each have something going on at any given moment. Our goal is to ensure that any WordPress user, whether they are an experienced WordPress developer or a novice blogger, always has at least one talk going on that will be interesting to them. Not all talks are appropriate for all users, but we are confident that anyone could walk away form WordCamp with lots of new knowledge and ideas for making the most of WordPress. We will also have a series of “unconference” events this year.
We have confirmed that Matt Mullenweg founder of WordPress will be there, so you can look forward to some global WP-Celebrities, as well as all our local experts
Presentations are usually 45 minutes long with time for questions and for switching rooms if necessary.
